Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how FixLogic, operated by Fiks’d IT, LLC (“FixLogic”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, and protects personal information in connection with the FixLogic website at fixlogic.coand the FixLogic software platform (the “Service”). It applies to two distinct categories of data, described in §3 below.

2. Who is in Scope

  • Tenants — repair-shop businesses that subscribe to FixLogic, and the staff users they grant access to.
  • Tenant’s Customers — the end customers of those repair shops, whose information tenants enter into the Service in the course of their business.
  • Site Visitors — anyone who visits fixlogic.co, including waitlist signups and demo users.

3. The Two-Hat Model

FixLogic plays two distinct roles depending on whose data is involved:

  • Controller for data we collect directly from tenants and site visitors — signup info, billing details, support emails, marketing-list emails, and analytics about your use of fixlogic.co.
  • Processor for “Customer Data” that tenants put into the Service about their end customers (names, contact info, devices, repair histories, payment records). Tenants are the controller of that data; we process it on their behalf only as needed to deliver the Service.

4. Data We Collect

Information you give us directly:

  • Name, email, phone, business name, and shop address when you sign up or join the waitlist.
  • Billing information (handled by our payment processor — see §6).
  • Support inquiries and feedback you send to us.
  • Customer Data you upload into your tenant: end-customer contact info, device details, repair tickets, invoices, inventory, etc. We collect this on your behalf and only as needed to operate the Service.

Information collected automatically:

  • Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps, requested URLs) for security and operations.
  • Authentication session cookies issued by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth).
  • Aggregate usage analytics on fixlogic.co marketing pages (see §7).

5. How We Use Data

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To authenticate you and your staff and prevent unauthorized access.
  • To process billing for your subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (account, billing, security, system status).
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To send waitlist updates and product announcements only to email addresses that opted in. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email.
  • To comply with legal obligations (taxes, lawful requests from authorities, etc.).
  • We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. We do not use Customer Data for our own marketing.

6. Subprocessors

We use trusted third-party services to deliver the Service. As of the date above, our primary subprocessors include:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, storage
  • Google Cloud / Firebase App Hosting — application hosting
  • Brevo (Sendinblue) — transactional and marketing email
  • Twilio — SMS delivery
  • BlockChyp — payment processing for in-shop point-of-sale (where enabled by tenant)
  • Google AI (Gemini) — AI-assisted features such as email scan and content drafting
  • MobileSentrix, Amazon Business, eBay — supplier integrations (vendor data exchange)

The exact list may change as the Service evolves. We commit to using only providers whose security practices we’ve reviewed and that operate under their own published privacy policies. Tenants requiring a written list of subprocessors for compliance purposes can request one at [email protected].

7. Cookies & Analytics

We use a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver the Service (authentication session cookies, security cookies). On the public marketing pages of fixlogic.co we may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization, advertising features disabled, no Google Signals) to understand aggregate page traffic. We do not use cross-site tracking pixels or third-party advertising cookies.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking authentication cookies will prevent you from logging in.

8. Data Security

  • Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all browser ↔ server traffic.
  • Encryption at rest at the database layer via our hosting provider.
  • Row-level security ensures each tenant’s data is isolated from every other tenant.
  • Access to production systems is limited to authorized FixLogic personnel and audited.
  • We use industry-standard authentication (password hashing, optional magic-link sign-in).

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

9. Data Retention

  • Customer Data is retained for the duration of your active subscription plus a 30-day post-termination grace period during which you can export it.
  • Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging.
  • Marketing-list email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe.
  • Billing records are retained as required by tax law (typically 7 years).

10. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

For Customer Data — i.e. data your repair shop has uploaded about its own end customers — direct your request to your repair shop. They are the controller; we will assist them in fulfilling the request.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. International Users

FixLogic is operated from the United States and our subprocessors’ primary infrastructure is US-based. If you access the Service from outside the US, you consent to the transfer of your data to the US. If you are an EU/UK tenant we will put in place appropriate transfer safeguards (e.g. SCCs) on request.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
